NSDC launches government funded retail courses



Retail sector is one of those sectors where one can easily make career if the person has good communications skills, knows how to behave with customers and has patience. The best thing about doing job in retail sector is that this is one of those few sectors where one can make a good career for himself even if the person that person do not have any higher qualification. But like all the other sectors, competition is there in this sector too. Hence, anyone who wants to enter into retail sector needs to sharpen his/her skills and develop an aptitude to handle the work pressure. 

For doing so, one can go for short term courses. Yes, nowadays government is offering training courses for the people who are interested in retail operations. There are running these courses with the name of NSDC Star Scheme. There are 3 to 4 types of job profiles offered this program. These government certified courses, managed and run by Retailers Association's Skill Council of India (RASCI) and highly valued by all the big companies of retail sector. In fact, many of them are offering their services for training and assessment of candidates. 

The final examination will also look out by managers of some highly reputed brand names of retail sector. All the courses offered under this star scheme program are government funded and free of cost and anybody who have passed at least 10th class can apply for it. This is a great opportunity for the people belonging to economically weaker of society to change their fate. One thing is for sure that if anybody who is applying these courses put his/her 100 percent efforts to learn something from this course will have a great future ahead.
